Scythe recently launched its new cooler, the SCMR-1000, officially named 'Magoroku'. This cooler, initially teased in 2024 and prominently featured at Computex 2025, is now finally available. With a compact height of 155 mm and two 120mm fans (with a 26mm depth due to anti-vibration pads), it promises impressive cooling capabilities.

The included 120mm fans, featuring a design reminiscent of high-performance Noctua models, operate via PWM. They offer a broad speed range from 350 RPM (±200 RPM) to 2000 RPM (±10%), achieving an airflow from 7.68 to 60.29 CFM. Noise levels remain impressively low, ranging from 3 dBA to 26.88 dBA, while delivering a static pressure of up to 2.45 mmH2O.

The good news is its price: it will be available on April 10th for 4,980 yen.
